When talked about Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel which is one of miami hotels near airport it doesn't mean you stay on tree like others people said it just a name =). This hotel has a lot of great accomodations that they offered to their customer. In my opinion, even this hotel will cost you a lot of money but it is worth it. I've been looking a lot on miami hotels near miami and this is one of my favourite one but I cannot afford it, pity me.

Before my trip, I read the reviews about this hotel and most of the reviewers mentioned having issues with their room keys. Well I was pleasantly surprise to see that they have installed brand new key/lock system. It was a great value and the people were fantastic.

This was our makeshift arrangement for a night before we hit SouthBeach. Got a good deal from Hotwite and wasnt bad for the money we paid. It was a typical airport side hotel but had nice room and a good shopping mall on its side where my wife spent some money. The room was good, service was nice. We used its airport shuttle to come to the hotel and then went back to the airport to take the rental car. The driver was super nice - he took us to the car rental place on our request which saved us 30 minutes of changing shuttle.

Positives: Large room with very comfortable beds; courteous check-in; very good Priceline room rate ($45 for a Tuesday night) when considering the expensive rental cars, food, and most hotels to be found in this area of Florida.
Shortfalls: Problem getting room key to work required a return visit to the front desk, and even the second set took several tries before working (seems as this is a fairly frequent and ongoing problem at this hotel); hotels charges for parking, in a lot not at all convenient to hotel's front entry, so really should not; much furniture in lobby and bar area worn and really needs replacement.
Really would consider this hotel to be a 3*, rather than its carried 3.5*. No real problems encountered, and nice large room with comfortable beds outweighed any shortfalls.
See, I've told you this hotel very a good one but little bit expensive. Hope you can make a great choice on miami hotels near airport.
